FAQ's

1, Do you have different line up options? Yes. We primarily perform as a string quartet, which musically we felt is the most satisfying for both the performers and the clients. But we can also perform as a duo or trio, which might suit a smaller budget. Similarly, we can provide a larger ensemble for a more dramatic performance impact. 2, Are there any hidden costs? No. We are transparent with our prices and VAT is included. Please enquire, giving as much detail as you can; address, playing time needed, repertoire required, if it is not on our repertoire list. This way we can provide a more accurate quote.  3, Can you play outside, and do you need any equipment?  Yes, we can play outside. We will also need to be positioned beneath a covering of some sort, to protect our instruments from damage by sun or rain. We do require 4 armless chairs and adequate lighting to perform. We will bring our music and stands. 4, What time will you arrive? We usually arrive at the venue at least one hour prior to the commencement of our performance. 5, Can I choose specific music? Yes, of course. Please have a look through our repertoire list and make a note of any favourites. Or similarly anything you would rather we didn’t play. If there is something you’d like that isn’t on our repertoire list, please do let us know and we will either try and source it at no extra cost or arrange it for an extra fee. We will need at least 14 days notice in order to do this. 6, What if my timings change after I’ve booked you? We will always do our very best to accommodate altering arrangements. Please give as much notice as possible so we can help with any changes. We want to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. 7, Do you need a break? We will require breaks. For bookings over an hour, we will need a 15 minute break each hour. For bookings over 3 hours, we will need a 30 minute break. Refreshments are welcome on shorter bookings of up to 3 hours. A meal is required on longer bookings. 8, What are your travel costs? Within London there are no travel costs. An extra travel fee will be included in the quote for bookings outside of London. 9, What will you wear? We will dress as formally or casually as you would like. Concert attire, black or coloured is our usual performance wear. If you have anything specific you would like us to wear, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.
